YEAR IN REVIEW
2024
Received the “William Schultz Memorial Award in Oils” at the AIS 25th Annual National Convention in Rockport, MA.
Helped new and seasoned artists strengthen their confidence using gouache by teaching a workshop in Logan, UT for the Utah Watercolor Society.
Honored to be awarded the “Lil’ Gem Award of Excellence” at the OPA Western Regional Exhibition in Prescott, AZ hosted by the Phippen Museum of Art.
Participated in the Hackson Hole Fall Arts Festial QuickDraw for the 4th consecutive year in a row — this year’s bonus was bringing a new grunt crew… the kids!
Painted en plein air in a balmy 7 degree weather! Good thing too, because the barn iced in snow no longer stands today.
Ventured to Helena, Montana to teach professional and amateur artists the benefit of iteration and exploration within landscape painting.
Demo’d a little gouache study to nearly 30 artists at the 10th Year Anniversary of the Eagle Plein Air Festival.
I am richly blessed this Christmas season by your support! May you feel the love of our Savior, Jesus Christ as you celebrate His remarkable birth and life this season.
