Hello friends!
As August winds down, I’m already looking ahead to September and the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival! But before I jump into fall, I want to share a few highlights from a busy and rewarding month.
One of August’s highlights was joining Gouache LIVE as an instructor. This immersive two-day event was filled with live demonstrations, instruction, and plenty of great gouache questions! I loved sharing my approach to the medium while painting a 60-minute demo of Creek Street in Ketchikan, Alaska.

Gearing Up for the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival!
The Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival returns September 9th–20th, and I’m excited to participate in the Saturday QuickDraw for my sixth consecutive year!
Beneath Jackson’s iconic elk antler arches, I’ll have just 90 minutes to start and finish a painting before it heads to the live auction. It’s always an exciting morning! Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 19th from 8:00–10:30am and learn more here.
If you’re in Jackson for the festival, I’d also love to see you at the Wilcox Gallery. I’ll be there September 18th and 19th. Stop in, see what’s new in the gallery, and say “Hello!”
